Challenges of the Natural Look When refinishing oak floors, achieving a natural/untreated look can be challenging, particularly when color matching red and white oak in one area of the home. Past techniques to achieve a natural floor look relied on harsh chemicals like bleach, two-part peroxide-based strippers or oxalic acid. Anyone used bona nordicseal on red oak? You can choose a light and subtle whitewashed look or add more coats for a progressively whiter Scandinavian look. 3 years ago NordicSeal offers a 'whitish' appearance (as in a 'frosted' white). NaturalSeal will allow the look of 'raw wood'. ClassicSeal offers a yellowish tinge (ambers the wood a snick). If you want a frosted white floor then work with NordicSeal (Nordic = snow = white).
